Contracted by Whiting-Turner Contracting Company this project was a 155,000 square foot new construction manufacturing building in Germantown, MD.  This ground up construction project includes a new utility service, generator, and UPS systems to provide reliable power for a manufacturing facility.  The interior was fully fitted out including office spaces, warehouse, storage, shipping/receiving, and a large-scale manufacturing floor.  The exterior work entailed a full lighting package both parking and accent lighting, signage, and new utility switching package.  In addition, the final phase included providing power, equipment terminations, and a tightly coordinated commissioning process for the precise relocation of multiple manufacturing lines under production time constraints.  We worked hand in hand with product representatives and commissioning agents, so the customers’ deadlines were met.  This coordination process also included specialized equipment from around the world and assisting in its re-assembly process, so that schedules were unimpeded.
